The ARC Program is currently employing two full time employees. A Licensed Social Worker employed by the Wood County Prosecutor's Office, and a Deputy Sheriff. The Program is supervised by Wood County Prosecuting Attorney Paul Dobson
In 2008, Mr. Dobson was elected as Wood County Prosecuting Attorney. Mr. Dobson has a passion for helping see individuals suffering from addiction get the help and resources available to change their lives for the better.
"In mathematics, an arc is a part of a circle, and we expect this program to become a major part of closing the circle of care around folks struggling with addiction. It also brings to mind Noah's Ark, which saved mankind from the overwhelming circumstances of the floodwaters. We expect that this program will be that kind of hope for the people who cannot find their own way out of the drowning influence of addiction."
Kaleb is a six-year veteran of Law Enforcement, employed by the Wood County Sheriff’s Office. He is currently assigned to the Addiction Response Collaborative ( A.R.C.). In this role, he will assist narcotic-dependent individuals on their journey to sobriety.
Before being assigned to A.R.C. Kaleb served on the road patrol for the Wood County Sheriff’s Office. Prior to his employment with Wood County Sheriff’s Office, he was employed at Mercy Health Police Department and Oak Harbor Police Department.
Kaleb graduated from Terra State Community College with an associate’s degree in Police Science. While attending Terra State, Kaleb was the Student Body President.
Kaleb believes in putting in the effort and time to assist narcotic-dependent individuals in obtaining sobriety and maintaining sobriety. He enjoys speaking and getting to know people to better understand their needs and how to connect them to the resources they need.
Madison is the Program Coordinator for the Wood County Addiction Response Collaborative (ARC). She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Bowling Green State University and is a licensed social worker (LSW) in the state of Ohio. Her role within the ARC program is to offer support and resources to overdose victims and their families, as well as facilitate the Pretrial Diversion Program.
